Blue Cloisonné Vase

Beautiful blue with birds and flowers cloisonne vase on brass. This vase is at least 50 years old. There is a tiny section missing on the back of the vase - it was probably dropped at some point (see photo). Cloisonné is an ancient technique for decorating metalwork objects with colored material held in place or separated by metal strips or wire. Pieces are fitted between thin pieces of brass. Very intricate work. Approximately 9 inches high.
