Whoa! This jug is phenomenal. Made by Davenport Banks & Co. between 1860 and 1873. This is old and in very good condition. It is round in shape with a tall pouring spout and gently curved handled. The chrysanthemums are hand painted in yellowy-brown and green with green leaves. So gorgeous. There is a trailing leaf pattern on the handle and a diamond pattern around the top. It stands 11.5 inches tall. Not many of these left and this one is in very good condition - no chips or cracks. A rare find.
