Vintage Salt Box

This type of salt box was in almost every home. Salt came in very large bags and was stored in the kitchen for easy access in this type of salt box. The lid is hinged to swing up. This box has a little hand painted flower. It has the remnants of old tape by the whole. It stands 9 inches high, six inches wide and six inches deep. A great, authentic piece of vintage.
