This set is absolutely gorgeous. It is either German or Italian (no marks) with open fret work and fruit and flowers painted in the centre. There is a larger bowl and six matching plates. These were usually used for fruit or other sweets that wouldn't leak out the frets! Too gorgeous. No chips but there is one tiny crack in the edge of one plate - it looks like a manufacturer's flaw rather than a crack but we are not sure.
