This is a large, antique Pearson's of Chesterfield 1810 salt glazed brown stoneware pottery bean crock with lid. This crock has two ear handles, a lid with vent hole and is in excellent vintage condition, showing little wear, no notable damage. Bottom has spur marks and is stamped Pearson's of Chesterfield” in a double lined circle with the large P on black background above “1810” “Made in England” on the unglazed bottom. It is functional as well as making a beautiful display piece. Approximate measurements: 8.5 inches wide and 10 inches tall. It was probably made in the early 1900s, about 100 years old. It is a wow piece, great design, good condition, just beautiful.
