This beautiful vintage amber necklace has baroque-style beads graduated from small to large. It has a lovely rustic style, naturally-shaped polished beads, mainly in the dark orange colour, that have not been pummeled to a round shape. It does not have a clasp and is large enough to pull over your head. There are many stories about the powers of amber, such as body heat releasing healing powers and easing pain. This is why in the last century babies were often given amber necklaces for teething (not recommended these days!).
